Healthy Taco Bowls
These taco bowls offer all the deliciousness of your favorite tacos, but with a nutritious twist. Packed with fresh ingredients and lean protein, they make a perfect quick and healthy dinner option!

Ingredients:
1lb ground beef or turkey
2 cups of basmati rice
Taco seasoning packet
Olive oil
Shredded mexican cheese
Shredded lettuce
Optional ingredients:
Salsa
Sour cream
Corn
Black beans
Tomatoes
Directions:
In a pan on medium heat, add 2 tbsp of olive oil. After 2 minutes of heating, add ground beef or turkey. Cook until all meat is fully browned and reaches a temperature of 165 degrees. When fully cooked, add a packet of taco seasoning and stir to combine.
In a pot, cook basmati rice as instructed on the package.
Begin assembling bowls with rice on the bottom and meat on top. Add desired toppings.
