Cost: $18.27
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
1 box penne pasta
4 cups broccoli
1 jar alfredo sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated parmesan for topping
Directions:
Start by slicing any additional fat off of each chicken breast. Season each side of chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, paprisk, salt, pepper.
Heat a pan on medium-high with 2 tbsp of olive oil. After 2 minutes of heating, add in the chicken breast. Cook chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
While the chicken is cooking, boil pasta water in a large pot. Add a dash of salt and olive oil to your pasta water. Cook pasta until it reaches al dente (about 11 minutes), making sure to stir the pasta occasionally. Drain when finished, and add pasta back into the pot.
In another pot, steam broccoli until it reaches the desired texture.
Once the chicken is done cooking, slice it into cubes. On low-medium heat, add 1 jar of alfredo sauce into the pan with pasta. Next, add chicken and broccoli. Stir to combine and heat until the sauce is warm.
Serve and enjoy!
